The corridors of the large residential buildings as situational moments, "border areas" in which the strangeness of urban living meets the home intimacy.

The corridor, generally a long and narrow area, often located on the border between the inside and the outside of the apartments in the city. It's a double passage, an entrance and an exit, where entrance and exit, daily mix each other, inverting the meaning of everyday life in search of unlikely escape routes.

The corridors are "no man's land", places partially lived. Obscured by the light of day, night stand, when the outer darkness exalts spaces and crevices, giving to these places a warm yellow light, mental passport for an invitation to enter.

This reportage, however, is not limited to document in a serial manner, but try and rest on those places where stand out the most signs of human presence. It portrays the symbolism of the passage : first of all the plants, true or false, the emotional needs of embellishment ; mail boxes, overflowing with ignored flyers; lanes, indicating a path to follow; added lamps, as well as those installed by the project, an obvious symbol of the need to make up for the time poor lighting, the paintings hanging on the walls, nothing, to emphasize the anonymity of the spaces.

Despite I've taken the pictures in the north- east of Milan city, the geographical and timeline location is etiological meaningless. they are universalized spaces, an example of a time socio- temporal processing, but not for this artificially modified in their natural essence.
