Outsides
Outsides is a work which is completely realized with an analogical camera, without any digital intervention, in which the light, aseptic and monochromatic, is given just by neon lightening in the interiors of shops. Choosing the three basic colours of the digital image is a provocation indeed, as well as being the mirror of the conflict between what is still linked to traditional photography and what instead leads to the future of the photographic image. Overlapping surfaces between the exterior reflection of the window and the interior one of the shop, the work aims to be a study about the dualism running between reality and representation in photography, regardless of electronic manipulation. By the same system of RGB I intended to pay tribute to the photographic black & white archetype. Without too much nostalgia and with the same provocative and problematic approach.
