New and old overlap in the double exposures that describe the change in the area of the former fiera in Milan.
Milan grows. And "Superstructures" explores this change.
Turning around the area of the "Ex-Fiera" the first thing you may notice is the confusion between old and new. Building sites are born quickly, sometimes seem to fall from above. Huge cranes dig spaces that become new structures which in turn hide the old squares and streets. The site is alive and inside it holds the future and history.
Here's my film work as these shipyards, the new fast shutter covers the old, and everyone is waiting to see the outcome.
