What do the citizens see every day? How do the changes and the urban transformations of Milano appear to them? A journey through of the windows overlooking the city.

For some years, Milan is hit by strong transformation projects. Not only in view of Expo 2015, but also by substantial real estate investments, large areas of the city, central or peripheral, are going to be completely redefined. The area where the "Ex-Fiera" and "Portello", "Porta Nuova", "Cascina Merlata" next to Gallaratese area, in future, where will be most obvious easy to see the metamorphosis taking place in the contemporary city.

The survey returns the impact of this remarkable urban mutation of those who, in these areas, who live there. Going into places where you can go for a coffee, see a show or buy something but also in some in which we will not enter, such as private homes, you can see in these pictures, what citizens see every day. Imagine how the years have changed not only the people, that those same windows looking out, but also the landscape observed.

Walking through the streets of Milan is explicit the main role new architectures that are growing in terms of the evolution of the urban landscape but it is less usual to see how such a change appears in the window frame of the panoramic restaurants, shops and homes in the area.

With this exploration I wanted to open a new window on the Milan of the future, which can give new points of view but also insights on the transformation of a landscape that concerns us all.
