False reality
Milan, Porta Nuova. A recently constructed district appears as a forced imposition of an impeccable futuristic, almost unreal, compound in the urban texture.
The research wants to fit into the thin limbo separating the image of what has already been built on what does not yet exist, starting from the architectural change projects planned in the area "Garibaldi Station" advertised with pictures and pre-visualizations created by computers.
The project is structured around and within new buildings that are giving rise to the neighborhood of "Porta Nuova", focusing on the UNICREDIT tower, the buildings attached to it and the square circumscribed within them.
The photographs, taken on the new "place in Milan" shortly after his opening, undergo a subsequent digital post production: the absence of the human figure and elements out of place,in a flawless way the perfection of each image becomes so unreal as to force the viewer to wonder how much of that image actually exists in reality.
